Who we are...

About Dan and Elisabeth as a couple:

Dan and l, Elisabeth, have been happily married for almost 11 years now and have two wonderful boys named Noah and Taevan who just turned 6 and 8 years old. Elisabeth had severe health complications from the birth of our youngest and now we are unable to have more children biologically. We have been hoping to adopt for 4 years now. There is a deep longing in our hearts to nurture, love, and cherish another child.
We have a strong faith in God and we are deeply grateful to Him for the children we have and all He has done for us.

A little about Dan:

Dan is a very fun and loving dad and husband. He grew up on a farm and has always had an exceptional work ethic. He works very hard at whatever he does and he always puts his family first. He went to college for welding and built water towers for a living for 8 1/2 years. This was a job that required him to move all over the country wherever a water tower was needed. He moved every 2-9 months anywhere from California all the way to Georgia. When we had our first child this was no longer easy or practical! We settled down permanently in upstate New York and bought a house that we love. Dan has been a crane operator for a local company since we settled (8 years now). He is a wonderful man who has a heart for others and is always willing to help anyone.

A little about Elisabeth:

Elisabeth grew up in Upstate New York. Her favorite thing to do is be with her boys and Dan. She loves playing with the kids, taking them to fun places, and especially loves reading to them. She is very close with her wonderful parents who live right next door and who absolutely adore the boys! She enjoys helping others and encouraging them. She has a heart for people and especially people who struggle emotionally, mentally, or physically. She worked at the ARC summer camp for handicapped children for 2 years. She also worked in local nursing homes and really enjoyed the residents. She also volunteered at the All Women's Help Center as a teenager (which is now called the Life Choices Center).

  1. I can't think of a more perfect couple for adoption or of a more loving family than yours! I pray that you will soon have the chance to share you love with one more sweet child.
